BBQ Chicken Pizza
Preparation:
Pizza Dough:
- 1 pkg active dry yeast
- 1 tsp honey
- 1 cup warm water, 105 to 115 degrees
- 3 cups all purpose flour
- 1 tsp salt
- 1 Tbsp olive oil - or extra virgin oil
I put these ingredients - in this order - in a bread machine on the 'dough'
selection. For thin crust pizza - divide into three portions. The unused dough
can be refrigerated for 2-3 days to use later. I roll the dough out - and bake
on 450 - un-topped - on a pizza stone for about 5 minutes - then add the
toppings!
Toppings:
- 1 chicken breast - cooked and shredded
- 1/4 to 1/2 cup bottled BBQ sauce
- 1/2 cup pizza sauce - any kind
- 1/2 medium onion - thinly sliced
- Mozzarella cheese
Top pizza with toppings and bake at 450 degrees until cheese is melted and
starts to brown! * You can use as much BBQ sauce as you like - I mix it to keep
it from being too sweet!
